Bentley Drops Online Gaming9 July 2002LOS ANGELES, California --(Press Release)-- Bentley Communications Corp. (OTCBB:BTLY) has just achieved a "first-to-market" advantage in the online brokerage world: real-time ATM/Debit card transactions for funding brokerage accounts through Bentley's ATM@HOME debit card system. "This creates an online trading experience that will not only accelerate the availability of funds, but all money movement to and from the client's account can now be handled solely by the client. This allows the broker the freedom from the typical day-to-day `housekeeping' that wastes as much as 20% of his day," said Gordon Lee, CEO. Bentley is pleased to announce this strategic change in their business plan. Due to the enormous legal and political hurdles currently being experienced in the online gaming industry, they have taken this opportunity to reorganize the company's plan. Bentley will no longer be pursuing online gaming but will now focus their energy on goals that will enable the company to achieve growth and revenue at a faster pace. "Bentley's system to transfer funds into or out of a member's account using Bentley's ATM@HOME is now being geared toward transaction-based revenue from the fast growing online financial community. This also opens other avenues for additional revenue for the company in areas requiring real-time debit and credit between home offices and their agents regardless of their location, such as the insurance industry," says Lee. Bentley has now completed the Gibraltar agreements and issued 50,000,000 restricted shares as part of a finance package. An additional finance package has been procured that will allow Bentley the right to repurchase its shares at a later date and at a predetermined price. With these steps accomplished the company has now acquired the pertinent agreements for the launch of its new business plan. Bentley's focus will now be on the implementation of Instant Cash Payments via an ATM/Debit card from home or office, to or from an online member's account. With Bentley's system in place, the broker's client's funds will be immediately available for opening accounts, trading, or any other capital-related brokerage transactions as we apply the ATM@HOME system to the online brokerage community. |
