Benefits boosted for online players at Full Tilt Poker Galway Festival

25 July 2013

ONCHAN, Isle of Man -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- With an array of tickets to be won (both online and live), lively entertainment, bundles of competitions and exclusive benefits for online players the Full Tilt Poker Galway Festival is set to be two weeks of pure action and excitement, kicking off on July 27th.

The Last Longer Sponsorship Prize Package gives one lucky qualifier buy-ins and expenses to every remaining Main Event on the UKIPT Season 4. The all-access pass will be awarded to the player who outlasts all other Full Tilt Poker qualifiers in the €1,000,000 Main Event, which starts on August 8th and runs for five days.

Furthermore, if a Full Tilt Poker qualifier wins the Main Event, they will get a custom avatar to use online at Full Tilt Poker, in addition to their huge cash prize.

“Full Tilt Poker gives players a unique online experience and enhancing the live experience is just one of the ways we reward players,” says Sarne Lightman, Head of Marketing at Full Tilt Poker. “We are proud to be involved in Europe’s biggest-ever poker festival, and our players and our promotions will help make it one of the most memorable.”

Even Full Tilt Poker’s Main Event players who bust before the bubble have more ways to win with a host of other prizes, such as the $10,000 Second Barrel Freeroll, running at Full Tilt Poker on August 18th. Every registered Full Tilt Poker player who doesn’t cash in the Main Event will receive a Second Barrel Freeroll ticket to take another shot at tournament glory.

Fourteen $635 FTOPS XXIII Main Event tickets will also be given away during the Full Tilt Poker Galway Festival - to the player who bubbles the Main Event and to winners of special events taking place throughout the two weeks.

Full Tilt Poker is rewarding cash game players, who have yet to win a Main Event seat or buy in directly, with the chance to win their €1,100 seat during the festival with the Bad Beat Jackpot. Running from July 29th through August 5th, cash game players can turn bad luck into good if they have the highest-ranked losing hand of the day – cash game tables will run non-stop at the Full Tilt Poker Village.

The festival atmosphere in Galway will be second to none, with a player party officially kicking off the proceedings on July 27th and the Main Event party on August 10th marking the last weekend of the festival. Both will take place at the Full Tilt Poker Village Entertainment Marquee and will feature refreshments, special guests and live entertainment.

All participants can also take advantage of the VIP-style Full Tilt Poker Bus, which has been specially fitted with poker tables so players won’t miss a moment of action as they travel to and from both the Galway Races at Ballybrit Racecourse and Caesars Palace casino in nearby Salthill.
