She had picked up a printout of the winning numbers and found some time Saturday night to check her ticket. "…Once the news had sunk in, they began making a few plans. She's buying herself a brand new SUV -- a Ford Expedition, fully loaded -- and plans to renovate their three-bedroom bungalow. "…`It's absolutely overwhelming,' said Peter, 50, who plans to quit his job at a local mill. `It doesn't feel like reality yet. I have no idea what we'll do with it.' "…Brenda, who also plans to quit her job at an A&W restaurant in Fort Nelson, didn't previously consider herself lucky, although she's bought lottery tickets for years…" |
