BC Allows New Casino Games

8 April 2003

BRITISH COLUMBIA – As reported by the Vancouver Sun: "The B.C. Lottery Corp. is getting ready to allow new games in B.C.'s 19 casinos.

"Craps, different kinds of poker and an `array' of slot machines are being studied as possible options in the next six months to a year, said corporation president and CEO Vic Poleschuk.

"…There are 15 community casinos and four destination casinos in B.C. Casinos have operated in B.C. since 1987 The B.C. Lottery Corp. was given responsibility to manage slot machines when they became legal in the province in 1997…"
