Barden wants hearing postponed14 May 2008PENNSYLVANIA -- As reported by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "A state Gaming Control Board hearing on Don Barden's plans to pay for his North Shore casino could be postponed because the financing package is still being negotiated. ...Barden's attorneys sent the gambling board a letter last night asking for the delay because his Pittsburgh casino company, PITG Gaming, 'is in the process of negotiating with its lenders terms and conditions that have not been finalized and that are complex.' PITG officials want to delay the gambling board hearing until the loan negotiations -- which include the international firm Credit Suisse and a consortium of banks -- wrap up..." |
