Bandits Steal $180,000 in Casino Chips25 April 2002ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Associated Press: "Three bandits stole about $180,000 in casino chips from a high-stakes blackjack table at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, according to state police. "…[Casino officials] said the chips could only be redeemed at the casino, but would not provide descriptions of the suspects or specific details about what was taken. "Kerry Hand, a spokeswoman for the state Division of Gaming Enforcement, would only say that three men were being sought in the theft." |
