Bally Gaming & Systems Increases Support for GSA11 April 2003LAS VEGAS – (Press Release) -- The Gaming Standards Association (GSA) announced today that Bally Gaming & Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alliance Gaming Corporation (NYSE: AGI), has increased their support of the organization, upgrading from Gold to Platinum member. "Bally Gaming & Systems is one of the original members responsible for launching the organization five years ago," acknowledged Peter De Raedt, president of GSA. "Their increased support shows that the GSA is heading in the right direction." Mark Lipparelli, executive vice president of Bally Systems stated, "Bally believes in the mission and goals of the Gaming Standards Association, and today, more than ever, the GSA is defining and developing standards that are crucial, not only to Bally Gaming & Systems, but to the industry as a whole. Our increased support demonstrates our commitment to these important endeavors." In addition to Bally demonstrating their support of the GSA through membership, GSA also announced that Atronic Americas upgraded their membership from Silver to Gold and Park Place Entertainment re-joined as a Silver member. As well, GSA welcomed the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation as a new Gold member, bringing the total membership to 46. |
