Ballsfest will be in Las Vegas

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Ballsfest will bounce onto the Strip with its first Las Vegas fundraiser from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, 14 October at Waldorf Astoria, formerly the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas. The uplifting nonprofit, founded by testicular cancer survivor Frank DeBlasi raises money to provide unforgettable experiences for young cancer patients, who are affectionately called “Ballers.”

Emceed by local television personality Jillian Lopez Ballsfest will treat guests to an afternoon of food, entertainment and various fundraising opportunities. “This isn’t your typical fundraising gala,” said DeBlasi. “Everything about Ballsfest is uplifting and whimsical; and this event reflects that spirit.”

Ballsfest brings 10 successful years of development and growth through fundraisers in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. and Paradise Valley, Ariz. to its inaugural Las Vegas event. The expansion to Las Vegas will raise money for the inaugural class of Las Vegas “Ballers.”

Through relationships with local resource and treatment centers, including the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, Cure for the Kids Foundation and Summerlin Hospital, seven Las Vegas Ballers have been selected. They are: five-year-old Camden Lamb from Henderson, Nevada, five-year-old Navy Bishop from Henderson, Nevada, 10-year-old Katerine Soriano from Las Vegas, 10-year-old Anyla Gonzalez from Las Vegas, 13-year-old Gavin Kilcullen from Henderson, Nevada, 15-year-old Kamron Winfield from North Las Vegas, Nevada, and 19-year-old Baltazar Marquez from North Las Vegas, Nevada. Ballsfest has amassed an impressive roster of sponsors for its inaugural event, including: Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services – The Ivan Sher Group, Caesars Entertainment, LV Real, Blue Heron, Sotheby’s International Real Estate-Kristen Routh Silberman, The DeBlasi Family, Core Nevada, Luxury Estates International, Encore Productions, BEST Agency, Sun West Custom Homes, Vegas Golden Knights, Ed and Claudia Bernstein, Anthony and Tanya Campiti, The Herbst Family, Terry Wright and Tammy Pineyro, Archer Insurance Group and Miss Daisy.

Tickets may be purchased online, with individual tickets starting at $150. A full breakdown of sponsorship opportunities, priced between $2,000 and $5,000, is also available online.
