Aztar Reports Death of Board Member11 February 2003PHOENIX, Arizona –(Press Release) -- Robert S. Rosow of San Antonio, Texas, a member of the board of directors of Aztar Corporation, died Saturday, February 8, following an illness. Mr. Rosow, an independent Certified Public Accountant, had served on Aztar's board since 1989 and was chairman of Aztar's audit committee. He also had served previously on the board of directors of Ramada Inc. from 1969 until 1989 when Ramada was restructured and Aztar was formed. "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bob Rosow," said Paul E. Rubeli, Aztar chairman of the board and chief executive officer. "His high standards and his commitment to shareholder interests were unparalleled, and his thoughtful advice will be deeply missed."
