25 October 2017

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Award-winning grand illusionist David Goldrake has something hauntingly spectacular up his sleeve for Las Vegas audiences. Celebrating the success of his new Las Vegas residency at Tropicana Las Vegas, the magician, known as "The International Man of Mystery," is adding some Halloween mystery to his new show, David Goldrake's 'Imaginarium,' inside Tropicana Theater.

Audiences will witness a new opening to the show, incorporating Halloween music and themed stage lighting effects. They'll be taken on a journey as the cast of Imaginarium will be in full, haunting makeup and the setting will be rife with spooky stage décor inspired by the season. David Goldrake also promises Halloween-inspired illusions and costuming reminiscent of 19th century spirit séances, bringing the haunting effects of the holiday to everyone in the audience.

Tickets for "Your Haunted Journey Begins Here," a special Halloween performance of David Goldrake's 'Imaginarium,' are available 24-31 October (dark Monday, 30 October) with ticket prices starting at $49.98 (excludes tax and fees). For more information, visit David Goldrake's website. Tickets can be purchased at the Tropicana box office, by calling (800) 829-9034 or by going online to the casino's website and Ticketmaster.

Representing a new generation of illusionists, David Goldrake allows guests to lose all sense of reality, creating a surreal scene caught somewhere between reality and a fantastical, dreamlike world. From the classics of magical history to the modern experience, the grand illusionist treats guests to an interactive show featuring mentalism, escapology, music and choreography blended with modern 3-D mapping technology. Goldrake developed Imaginarium with the best creators in the field of magic and entertainment, and undertakes a journey through time that challenges the laws of nature before guests' eyes.

Goldrake started his career as a professional magician in 1999. On top of being a regular performer at the renowned Magic Castle in Hollywood, he has performed all over the world and has amazed more than 20 million guests in over ten countries and speaks seven languages. In 2010, he was awarded the coveted 'Mandrake d'Or' award (The Oscar of Magic) ranking him alongside names such as other Las Vegas favorites including David Copperfield and Siegfried and Roy. In 2015, Goldrake was awarded the 'Merlin Award' for 'Best Illusionist Europe 2015' by the International Society of Magicians.
