Autotote Successful Bidder for Maine On-Line and Instant Ticket Lottery Contract10 November 2000NEW YORK – (Press Release) --Nov. 10, 2000--Autotote Corporation (Amex: TTE) announced that Maine State Lottery has named Scientific Games International, an Autotote subsidiary, the apparent successful bidder for a six-year contract to provide both on-line and instant ticket lottery games. Subject to negotiation, the contract is valued at approximately $45 million over six years and may also be renewed for two additional, two-year periods. Pursuant to the contract, Autotote will install its AEGIS® Central System and 910 EXTREMA® on-line, clerk-operated lottery terminals equipped with SciScan 1500(TM) keyless entry instant ticket validation modules, 525 SciScan 2000(TM) keyless instant ticket validation terminals, and 150 SciScan 3000(TM) mid-range clerk-operated lottery terminals for operation beginning in July, 2001. Throughout the term of the contract, the company will also be Maine State Lottery's principal instant ticket supplier.
