Australia's Burswood Raises Money for Hotel1 November 2002PERTH, Australia – As reported by the Dow Jones: "Burswood Ltd. (Australia:BWD.AX) , an Australian casino company, said Friday it has raised A$35 million (US$19.56 million) from a placement of about 53 million shares at 66 Australian cents apiece. "Funds from the placement have been earmarked for the purchase of the Burswood Hotel and the improvement of leverage ratios. "The placement was taken up by a combination of existing and new investors. ABN AMRO Rothschild was lead manager, while Caliburn Partnership acted as financial adviser…" |
