Australian qualifies for Titan tournament

AUSTRALIA – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Mark Hoath, a theater director from Australia, has qualified for Titan Poker's exclusive Million Dollar tournament -- The Tournament Titan -- after he previously played at another of Titan Poker's million dollar final tables.

The Tournament Titan is the richest Sit & Go tournament ever played online, with a massive $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Mark (nickname "Catfang") qualified last week by finishing at the final table three times in a row at Titan Poker's regularly scheduled participating tournaments. Mark is the seventh player to qualify for this tournament, which will be staged when 20 players succeed in achieving this feat, guaranteeing themselves a share of $1,000,000 in prizes.

Mark made the final table once at Titan Poker's $7,500 GP Freezeout and twice at the popular poker room's $5,000 Guaranteed Tournaments.

With a million dollars on the line, The Tournament Titan competition is drawing some of the best tournament players online.

"I found it very difficult to qualify for this tournament," Hoath said afterwards. "On several occasions I had two tournaments and then couldn't get the third one. But I was definitely keen to get into this competition. Not only for the fantastic cash prizes, but also to show the world that Aussies are top Poker players."

This summer, Mark won a seat at Titan Poker's exclusive land-based $500,000 Freeroll, which offered a $100 Million Jackpot Prize for any player that hit a Royal Flush of Spades. Results of this tournament are set to be televised in 2007.
