Atronic Selects MEI Cashflow

23 September 2005

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Atronic, leading supplier of slot machines, today announced the selection of MEI Cashflow(TM) SC Series as the preferred currency acceptor for their new eMillions(TM) Wide Area Progressive (WAP) machines.

The nickel eMillions link will feature Atronic'S innovative e-motion(TM) cabinet and million dollar jackpots. Atronic currently operates the American Magic(R) and Penny Parade(TM) WAPs and plans to launch eMillions in tribal jurisdictions in September. MEI is a leading supplier of currency acceptors used in the worldwide casino gaming, vending, retail, and transportation industries.

"We are pleased with MEI becoming a preferred supplier to Atronic based on their flexibility and commitment to the marketplace," said Michael Ratner, Product Manager for Atronic. "Our height adjustable e-motion cabinets are revolutionary in their approach to player comfort and game play. We think the faster and simpler bill acceptance of the Cashflow unit furthers players' enjoyment on our games. For Atronic, that's what it's really all about, a profitable experience for the property and a fun experience for the player," said Mr. Ratner.

MEI North American OEM Manager, Bill Nichols, stated, "I am both delighted and pleased by MEI being selected to assist Atronic in the area of their WAP games. I think the fit between the two companies is an excellent one. Atronic provides the market with innovative solutions and seeks to deliver superior quality and outstanding customer support to their own customers."

MEI Cashflow bill acceptor was introduced in 2002 and is still the bill validator of choice for casinos and OEMs seeking to maximize the revenue from their slot games. It is also important to MEI that their bill acceptors work with a minimum of player frustration. MEI focuses on high first pass acceptance rates before making a decision of banknote validity.
