Atronic Receives Nevada License25 June 1998SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Atronic, an emerging video reel slot company, was awarded a manufacturer/distributor license for the State of Nevada on June 23 and is opening sales and service offices in Las Vegas and Reno. "We believe there is a definite trend indicating that video reel slots will occupy a significant portion of the floor space," said Atronic COO Dick Vink. "As a well established manufacturer/distributor of video reel slots, our Nevada license brings us one step closer to positioning ourselves as the leader in this area." Atronic operates seven offices worldwide, including its headquarters for the Americas in Scottsdale, Arizona and its international headquarters in Germany. The company is currently licensed in more than 20 jurisdictions throughout North America and does business in more than 40 countries around the world. Founded in 1994, Atronic is a subsidiary of the privately-owned German company, the Gauselmann Group. The group is one of the largest manufacturers/operators of AWP machines in Europe and reported a consolidated turnover of DM999 million ($571 million) in 1997.
