Atlantic City Visitor Welcome Center to close

25 April 2019

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Atlantic City Visitor Welcome Center, located on the Atlantic City Expressway at mile marker 3.5, will officially be closed by Wednesday, 1 May 2019 according to Casino Reinvestment Development Authority Director of Communications and Marketing, Larry Sieg.

The CRDA, which oversees the Tourism District Welcome Centers, will offer expanded services and hours at the existing Boardwalk Information Center, located at Mississippi Avenue and the Boardwalk, and continue to staff the Concierge Desk at the Atlantic City Convention Center during select shows.

“With visitors now accessing travel information through online social media and other mobile devices, and the availability of tourism information on the internet, we are adjusting to modern times and willing to meet visitors where they are,” said Sieg. “The increased services and hours at the Boardwalk Information Center and the Concierge Desk, along with a more robust social and digital marketing presence should sufficiently meet the needs of Atlantic City visitors here in the Tourism District.”
