Atlantic City Casinos Not Reporting Results6 August 2003ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – As reported by the Press of Atlantic City: “The second business day of the month came and went Monday without the monthly exchange of revenue results among each casino, ending a 20-year tradition. “Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa fulfilled its vow of last week and did not participate in the exchange of preliminary numbers, causing a domino effect among the other casino bosses who were in no mood to give and not receive. “…Wall Street analysts and gaming observers who have come to expect their revenue fix early each month will now have to wait until mid-month. “…Even with Borgata not participating, some casinos said last week they would continue to exchange revenue numbers. But they evidently changed their minds…” |
