ATE, Christiansen Capital Advisors Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement25 April 2002LONDON – (Press Release) -- Two leading global companies in the gaming and gambling sector, exhibition organizer and publisher ATE and management consultants Christiansen Capital Advisors, LLC (CCA) announced today a strategic partnership stretching across European and US territories. The two leading companies in the gaming sector will focus on online service developments through ATE's new media channel, ATEOnline and CCA's core business and online site. The two companies will be working together to develop an interactive advisory service to the European market on the US gaming and gambling sector, providing information, contact resources and research. The service will act as an invaluable tool to the European industry that is facing a wealth of new market and global convergence opportunities. ATEOnline is currently developing a US Gambling Zone that will be serviced by CCA. The zone will allow users access to news, an interactive advice board, a people finder, and research such as The Gross Annual Wager, the most comprehensive database and analysis of gambling available anywhere. In addition, the companies will hold exclusive rights to host ``Observer Online,'' the online publishing arm of Michael Pollock's Gaming Industry Observer, an award-winning publication that tracks and analyses trends that impact the gaming industry. Peter Rusbridge, CEO of ATE says, ``We are extremely pleased to be working in partnership with a company of CCA's calibre. CCA's founders, Eugene Christiansen and Sebastian Sinclair, are at the heart of the US gambling industry and bring their wealth of consulting experience in the provision of an information resource that will deliver competitive advantage to our customers. ATEOnline has enjoyed phenomenal user growth over the past year and we are committed to providing further value added information, services and networking opportunities through our new media channel that our international exhibitions have been doing for many years.'' The traditional global gambling industry is converging with platforms such as Internet, digital broadcast, telecoms and console. As a result, the traditional and new emerging operators and manufacturers require more information and resources to plan business development and capitalize on global market opportunities. Commenting, Eugene Christiansen said, ``Through our relationship with ATE we can bring the US closer to Europe, sharing market intelligence and industry contacts to provide business-critical information. Our partnership is a powerful alliance and we are very excited regarding the prospects both companies, by working together, can deliver to the industry.'' |
