Asian High-Rollers Back in Australia's Casinos15 December 2000AUSTRALIA – Dec. 15, 2000 – As reported by the Australian News Interactive: "The Asian high-roller is back at the casino tables of Australia - helping deliver a five-fold increase in profits. "The fall-away of big players in the aftermath of the Asian economic crisis has ended, with a 47 per cent increase in takings from overseas and premium players. "Casinos report growing demand from Asian clientele, with the exception of their old Indonesian customers.
