Arizona Casinos Expected to Generate $1 Billion22 July 2003ARIZONA – As reported by the Arizona Central: “Arizona's Indian casinos are estimated to generate about $1 billion in annual gambling revenue, or almost 7 percent of the national take. “Arizona gambling revenue is expected to increase because of February's implementation of new tribal-state gambling agreements under voter-approved Proposition 202. “… Annual contributions to the state eventually are expected to be about $89 million to $102 million.” |
