Arizona Casino Opponents to File Lawsuit

FLORENCE, Arizona – As reported by the Associated Press: "Opponents of a proposed Florence-area tribal casino say they will file suit within two weeks to block the project.

"Arizona lawyer Lexis Johnson, representing the group called People Against a Casino Town, or PACT, contends Oregon's constitution specifically bans casino gambling.

"…Many residents of the coastal community say they fear the casino would harm the town's character and atmosphere."
