Aristocrat Technologies Signs Norwegian Cruise Lines Contract

5 October 2004

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE)-- Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., a Las Vegas-based provider of gaming machines and casino management systems, announced that it has signed a contract to provide its OASIS(TM) Casino Management System to Norwegian Cruise Lines Corporation (NCL) to link and monitor activity on 1,000 gaming machines in five onboard casinos.

"We're thrilled to have been selected as NCL's casino management system provider for five of its casinos with the Casinos at Sea membership program," said Gavin Isaacs, President of Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. "NCL has dramatically enhanced the gaming experience for their passengers and we're proud to be partners with them as they utilize our technology to offer even more player benefits and rewards."

"Over the past few years we've really stepped up our player loyalty and promotions programs on our Casinos at Sea, and installing the advanced technology of Aristocrat's OASIS is the next step in our evolution," said Dana Leibovitz, Senior Vice President of NCL Corporation.

Under the contract, Aristocrat will provide its most advanced technology including the OASIS Quickets(TM) ticket-in/ticket out system to enable cashless wagering.

When fully implemented on all five vessels by the end of March 2005, Aristocrat's OASIS system will link and monitor 1,000 gaming machines aboard NCL's Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Spirit, Norwegian Star, Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Jewel with itineraries that take passengers to destinations such as Alaska, Bermuda, Bahamas, Canada and New England.

Aristocrat is the global leader in gaming systems. There are more gaming establishments and machines monitored by Aristocrat systems including OASIS than any other. Aristocrat's OASIS Casino Management System utilizes the popular Windows operating platform and advanced electronic monitoring equipment to collect, integrate, analyze and report information on player and gaming activity. OASIS enables operators to link their revenue centers together, including casino, hotel, food and beverage and other gaming areas.

Las Vegas-based Aristocrat Technologies designs and markets gaming machines, casino management systems, progressive systems, and progressive jackpot meters. Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. is a subsidiary of global gaming company Aristocrat Leisure Limited, which is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX: ALL).
