Aristocrat Technologies Product Approved

2 August 2005

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. today announced that Gaming Laboratories International, Inc. (GLI) has approved its new OASIS(TM) PersonalBanker(R) AFT cashless solution that allows players to download promotional credits, convert points to cash, and upload and download cashable credits to their PersonalBanker account at the gaming machine, significantly expanding casinos' ability to implement high-impact marketing and promotions programs.

"Aristocrat Technologies is excited to offer a comprehensive and powerful cashless solution as part of the OASIS Casino Management System," said Ron Jeffrey, Aristocrat's Vice President of Gaming Systems. "We've expanded our PersonalBanker module to give casinos the flexibility to reward players' loyalty and capitalize on a number of promotional opportunities at the gaming machine not available before in a single-wire solution.

"PersonalBanker AFT allows players to convert their loyalty points to cash at the gaming machine," Jeffrey said. "Additionally, PersonalBanker AFT now allows players to upload funds from the gaming machine to their PersonalBanker account and download funds to other machines for play. These enhancements further demonstrate Aristocrat's commitment to cashless gaming systems."

PersonalBanker AFT, a cornerstone of Aristocrat's OASIS Promotions Technology, also enables casinos to grant promotional credits to groups or individuals players as rewards for play, contests, or as part of slot tournaments and casino promotions. Players can redeem their credits when they insert their player loyalty card into PersonalBanker-activated gaming machines and can play those credits on the machine or convert the points to a cash ticket. Any cashable credits earned during game play can be uploaded to their PersonalBanker account for future play.
