Aristocrat Products Approved26 April 2005LAS VEGAS –- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. today announced the approval of key products in Nevada and GLI jurisdictions. The Company's Reel Power game, Whales of Cash, was approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB), paving the way for additional approvals of Aristocrat's groundbreaking, patented Reel Power low-denomination video slot games where players bet reels instead of lines. Reel Power allows all winning symbols to play as scatters throughout the screen. When all reels are played, the player has up to 243 ways to win. The NGCB also approved Aristocrat's Magic Forest(TM) game, a 50-line penny slot. Aristocrat Technologies was the first gaming company to introduce 50-line video slot games to the U.S. market and Aristocrat's 50-line games are now widely available in Native American and riverboat casinos. "We expect Nevada players to embrace our Reel Power and 50-line games as they have in other jurisdictions across the country," said Gavin Isaacs, President of Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. "These pioneering games offer higher hit frequencies, more jackpots, and much greater entertainment value." Aristocrat Technologies also announced the approval of its patented Super Reel Power(R) technology in Gaming Laboratories Inc. (GLI) jurisdictions, which include most Native American and riverboat casinos in the United States. GLI approved two Super Reel Power games -- Asian Princess(TM) and The Game With No Name(TM). Super Reel Power enhances Reel Power game play by adding additional symbols to each reel. Aristocrat's Super Reel Power allows all winning symbols to play as scatters throughout the screen, giving players 3,125 ways to win when all reels are played. Las Vegas-based Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. designs and markets gaming machines, casino management systems, progressive systems, and progressive jackpot meters. Aristocrat Technologies is a subsidiary of global gaming company Aristocrat Leisure Limited, which is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX: ALL). |
