Aristocrat names Jamie Odell CEO, replacing Oneile

AUSTRALIA -- As reported by Bloomberg: "Aristocrat Leisure Ltd., the world's second-largest maker of slot machines, appointed Jamie Odell as chief executive officer and managing director after Paul Oneile stepped down in September, three months ahead of schedule.

"Odell was formerly managing director of Foster's Group Ltd. for Australia, Asia and the Pacific...

"...Aristocrat...is struggling to find buyers for new games as a recession in the U.S., its biggest market, crimps demand for slot machines.

"...Odell will be paid an annualized salary of A$1.25 million ($859,000) Aristocrat said..."
