Aristocrat Launches George Lopez Slots

6 July 2005

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE)-- Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. today announced the launch of its new The George Lopez Game, a 25-line video slot based on the unique and hilarious comedy of the well-known actor and comedian.

The game, an addition to Aristocrat's double standalone progressive product line, is already approved in Nevada and most Native American and riverboat jurisdictions in the United States and will start to appear in casinos this summer.

"George Lopez and his life as a comedian, author, actor, and avid golfer provide rich fodder for our entertaining style of video slot game," said Kent Young, Aristocrat Technologies' Vice President, Marketing. "His tremendous popularity and wide-ranging demographic appeal will be a great addition to Aristocrat's game portfolio."

Aristocrat's The George Lopez Game features dual monitors, two standalone tiered progressive jackpots, and a second-screen bonus feature. When players wager max lines and a 10-credit ante bet, they become eligible for one of the two progressive jackpots. Players who progress to the third level of the jackpot bonus round are eligible for the Major Jackpot, which is usually 10 times the Minor Jackpot.

The game features Aristocrat's new dual-monitor cabinet, an upscale and sleek design with a 19-inch, flat-screen LCD monitor on the top box that incorporates the two progressive jackpot meters. Adding to the bank excitement, the LCD provides attract modes and animates when the Jackpot bonus is played.

The reel strip features three images of George Lopez, two which are wild and can trigger up to 50 free games and a third which is a mystery reveal symbol. Lopez fans will recognize other symbols and graphics that reflect his whirlwind southern California lifestyle, including golf clubs, cigars, and his trademark sunglasses.
