Aristocrat Chairman Resigns15 April 2003AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation News: "The chairman of Australian gaming machine giant, Aristocrat Leisure, has announced his retirement. "The resignation of John Ducker closely follows the announced departures of the company's chief executive and chief finance officer, after a major profit slump. "…He says his company's good reputation for corporate governance has taken a dent, however he has expressed full confidence in the company's future. "The chairman of the company's audit committee, Peter Draney, has also resigned. "The company's share price has dropped substantially since the announcement of a South American contract falling through and a subsequent 6.8 per cent decline in the full year profit results.
