Aristocrat Awarded Contract for Tuscany Hotel and Casino

15 October 2002

LAS VEGAS--(Press Release)-- Leading game and system manufacturer Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. announced today the company has been awarded a contract to install its superior OASIS casino management system at the soon-to-open Tuscany Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The Tuscany Hotel and Casino is owned by Tuscany LLC, and is expected to open in late 2002. The OASIS system will monitor all of the casino's 750 gaming machines.

Aristocrat is also installing its sophisticated Quickets Ticket-In/Ticket-Out technology in the all-cashless casino, the first all-cashless casino in Las Vegas. Additionally, Aristocrat is installing progressive meters.

Tom Alex, director of casino operations for Tuscany, said, "We are launching a unique product in Las Vegas, and we wanted a partner who shared our vision. We found that partner in Aristocrat. The cashless casino will separate us from every other casino in town, and we wanted the best system possible, which made the decision to go with OASIS an easy one."

Bruce Fraser, general manager for Tuscany, elaborated, "We are in the entertainment business. It is really all about relationships between the vendor, client and customer. The OASIS technology will allow us to provide the utmost entertainment experience to our customers."

The OASIS casino management system utilizes the popular Windows operating platform and advanced electronic monitoring equipment to collect, integrate, analyze and report information on player and gaming machine activity. OASIS enables operators to link all of their data centers together, including casino, hotel, food and beverage, and point of sale.

Quickets is the quickest way for casinos to serve guests and increase employee efficiency. Unlike other systems, Quickets Ticket-In/Ticket-Out technology works with multiple manufacturers gaming devices.

Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of global gaming leader Aristocrat Leisure Limited, is responsible for all North and South American operations from its headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Aristocrat offers a diversified product line that reaches into virtually all facets of the casino floor. In addition to both video and stepper slots, the company provides casino management systems, multi-site progressive (MSP) systems, progressive jackpot meters and casino signage.
