Aristocrat Announces Multi-Million Dollar South American Contract

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – (Press Release) -- Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., with its distributor, Caravell Gaming S.A.C., today announced the receipt of a multi-million dollar contract from Corporacion Meier S.A.C. of Lima, Peru. The contract covers the installation of 3,000 Aristocrat games at Corporacion Meier's group of gaming venues located throughout Peru. The transaction will be executed by Caravell, which was appointed Aristocrat's distributor close to two years ago and handles the Peru, Columbia and Panama gaming markets for the company.

"This represents one of the largest-ever orders for the company in South America," stated Mark Newburg, President of Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. "It is a significant milestone for the company and reflects the efforts to increase our market share in South America."

Newburg explained that Aristocrat begun modifying product to satisfy the needs of the South American market including integrating Spanish language software and graphics." We have such high expectations for the South American market that we have even gone to the extent of developing specific games, such as our INCA SUN™ game, which depicts Peruvian style and characteristics, concluded Newburg.

One of the most progressive gaming operators in Peru, Corporacion Meier is in partnership on two casinos and operates a dozen other gaming route venues. It also expects to open a third casino shortly. The first 1,000 Aristocrat games will be installed by the end of the year with the remaining scheduled over the next six months.
