Argosy Wants Weekday Gamblers14 December 2001LAWRENCEBURG, Indiana – Dec. 14, 2001 –As reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer: "Bringing more gamblers to Argosy Casino on weekdays is the best way to ensure its long-term success, the casino company is telling state regulators. " …`We need to attract more people to make the facility more successful during the week,' said James Perry, president and chief executive officer of Argosy Gaming Co., which owns the complex here and five other casinos. " With the biggest and most successful riverboat casino in the country, Argosy has reaped the lion's share of the benefits in Greater Cincinnati. That includes operating profits of nearly $100 million during the first nine months of this year.
