Annie Duke leads Ladies Only Event

MIAMI, Florida -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- If you think Texas Hold'em is a poker game mostly dominated by men, one is doing something to dramatically change that perception. today announced that Annie Duke, an acclaimed world poker champion and online poker player, is slated to lead this year's Ladies Only Event of the World Series of Poker Academy.

The two-day event promises to give female poker players a significant edge at the next World Series of Poker by teaching them crucial strategies today. The event offers attendees the chance to learn essential poker skills, tactics and applications through live hand demonstrations, seminars, Q&A sessions and poker tournaments. Featuring retired FBI agent Joe Navarro, the event also introduces a new seminar that focuses on female-specific non -verbal behavior.

The Ladies Only Event takes place at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas on January 25th and 26th, 2008. The $1,699 fee includes a private WSOP Academy poker tournament where five $1,000 WSOP Ladies Event seats are at stake.
