AmeriResource Reports 400% Increase in Royal Casino Passenger Traffic12 September 2002LAS VEGAS – (Press Release) -- AmeriResource Technologies, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: ARES) announces that Royal Casino Entertainment Corporation and Royal Casino Cruises LLC have seen the passenger count on their Royal Casino I, Gaming Day Cruise vessel, increase by 400% in its first 30 days of operation. On August 26, 2002, AmeriResource entered into a Definitive Agreement with Royal Casino Holding Corporation to acquire a 60% interest in its wholly owned subsidiary Royal Casino Entertainment Corporation and Royal Casino Cruises LLC. The transaction is expected to close within the next 20 days. Delmar Janovec Chairman & CEO stated: "As we enter South Florida's high season, which runs from October through May, we're expecting a continued increase in passenger traffic, which should help Royal Casino Entertainment move toward profitability." The Company, which announced a definitive agreement to acquire a 60% interest in Royal Casino Entertainment Corporation and Royal Casino Cruises LLC operates a state of the art Gaming Day Cruise vessel, Royal Casino I, from the Ambassador Resort & Corporate Center, located on Florida's Intercostals Waterway at 4000 South Ocean Drive, Hollywood, Florida. The Royal Casino I, Gaming Day Cruise vessel, has a capacity of 365 passengers plus a 40-person crew. Royal Casino I operates two daily cruises at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Once, in International Waters the boat operates as a "Las Vegas" style Casino complete with slot machines, black jack, craps, roulette and baccarat tables. Live entertainment and a full buffet are also provided. |
