Alliance Signs Deal with Rocket Gaming

13 January 2004

LAS VEGAS – (Press Release) -- Alliance Gaming Corp. (NYSE: AGI) announced today that its Bally Gaming and Systems business unit has entered into a multi-year agreement with Rocket Gaming Network to supply it with base gaming machines and licenses for game titles for Class II and bingo-based gaming markets throughout the country. The agreement contemplates the purchase of up to 3,000 base gaming machines over the next three years, and have purchased the initial order of 250 game licenses. The agreement calls for Rocket Gaming to have access to Bally Gaming's vast library of game titles.

"This agreement and Rocket Gaming's reach into strong Class II states such as Oklahoma, California and Florida give us another distribution method for both Bally Gaming machines and game titles that have become so popular with slot machine players in traditional casino markets throughout the world," said Robert Miodunski, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Gaming.

"Rocket Gaming, which many experts consider to be one of the most technologically advanced systems in the Class II industry, is excited to work with Bally, not just because of its high-quality cabinets and titles that have worldwide recognition, but because they have some of the most talented minds in the gaming business," said Ron W. Harris, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rocket Gaming.
