Alliance Gaming Signs Contract With Mystic Lake Casino5 October 2001LAS VEGAS, Nevada –(Press Release) --Oct. 5, 2001 -- Alliance Gaming (Nasdaq: ALLY) announced today that it has signed a contract with Mystic Lake Casino Hotel to provide one of the country's largest casino resorts with its SDS slot management system from Bally Gaming and Systems . Preliminary work on displacing the current system will begin in the coming weeks and the implementation of SDS on the nearly 4,000 slot machines at the Prior Lake, Minn., property near Minneapolis-St. Paul is expected to be completed during this fiscal year. The new SDS Version 8 software provides Mystic Lake with the full suite of financial reporting tools and includes technology for creating a variety of player promotions and a cashless environment utilizing both ticketing and electronic funds transfer (EFT). ``We are very pleased to begin a relationship with the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community and to provide SDS to one of the premier casino resorts in the country,'' said Robert Miodunski, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alliance Gaming.
