Alliance Gaming Provides Update on 2005 Report

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Alliance Gaming Corp. (NYSE: AGI) today announced it continues to work diligently to complete its year end June 30, 2005 closing. This process has been slower than originally anticipated, and completion of the audit and the reporting of year end results will require additional time. The Company will provide a further update as to its progress by no later than the week of September 5, 2005.
