Alliance Gaming Provides Update

LAS VEGAS – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Alliance Gaming Corp. (NYSE: AGI) today announced that it currently anticipates that the Form 10-Q filings for both the September 30, 2005 and December 31, 2005 quarters will be made within the next 45 days. The Company continues to work diligently on both quarterly filings and will provide further updates as appropriate on the timing of the filings and related investor conference calls. The additional time required for the filings is necessary in order to finalize the extensive accounting and review procedures being performed by the Company and its consultants that are consistent with the procedures implemented as part of its recently completed year end closing process.

"We are intently focused on being thorough and accurate in our financial reporting," stated Richard Haddrill, Chief Executive Officer. "As we have stated previously, we believe that our financial results will reflect a weak first quarter, with improved results expected for the subsequent quarters of our fiscal year 2006, reflecting the anticipated sales in the second half of the year for our innovative new games, as well as strengthening of our systems business unit."
