Alliance Gaming, Playboy Sign Licensing Agreement for Slot Series16 October 2001LAS VEGAS, Nevada – (Press Release) -- Alliance Gaming Corp. (Nasdaq: ALLY) today announced that its Bally Gaming and Systems business unit has entered into a licensing agreement with Playboy Enterprises International, Inc. (NYSE: PLA, PLAA) for a series of interactive casino gaming devices featuring the trademarks, art and images of the Playboy brand. …Under the direction of Playboy Enterprises International, Bally Gaming is developing games scheduled for release and installation in casinos in 2002. The games will capitalize on the advanced video and audio features of Bally Gaming's new Evolution Series platform. Copyrighted Playboy artwork and photographs will be used creatively to offer a unique slot product. The games are scheduled to be released on the new interactive Evo Hybrid platform that combines a reel-spinning slot with a large liquid crystal display (LCD).
