Alliance Gaming Names New Sr. Vice President for Bally Systems

Lipparelli was previously the President of Shuffle Master, Inc. and replaces Bill Watson, who is retiring.

Lipparelli will be responsible for all Bally Systems activities, including the continued integration of the SDS, ACSC, Casino Marketplace and Casino Management System/400 slot accounting and casino management product lines. In addition, he will oversee the continued rollout of cashless and marketing products such as eTICKET, eCOUPON, eCOMP, ePROMO and eFUND.

His industry experience should prove invaluable in leading our Systems group to develop products for the casino floor of tomorrow."

Lipparelli joined Shuffle Master, a gaming supply company, as Executive Vice President in April 2001 and was named President in January 2002. Prior to joining Shuffle Master, Lipparelli was Chief Financial Officer of Camco, Inc. in Las Vegas. From 1998 to 2000, he was Senior Vice President of Entertainment Systems for Bally Gaming and Systems and was responsible for the successful launch of the Company's Thrillions® wide-area progressive system and the subsequent release of the Betty Boop(TM) slot machine series. Lipparelli also previously served as Vice President of Finance for Casino Data Systems and worked for the Nevada State Gaming Control Board from 1988 to 1993. He holds a Master's Degree in economics from the University of Nevada, Reno.
