Alliance Gaming Completes Sale of Interest in Video Services, Inc.18 October 2004LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE)-- Alliance Gaming Corp. (NYSE: AGI) announced today that it has completed the sale of its 49 percent interest in Video Services, Inc. (VSI), which owns and operates a 730-machine video poker route operation in the greater New Orleans metropolitan area. Churchill Downs Incorporated acquired VSI for $4 million in total consideration, with $1,960,000 representing Alliance Gaming's 49 percent share. Alliance Gaming is a diversified gaming company with headquarters in Las Vegas. The Company is engaged in the design, manufacture, distribution and operation of advanced gaming devices and systems worldwide and owns and operates Rainbow Casino in Vicksburg, Miss.
