4 September 2002

LAS VEGAS --Slot machine maker Alliance Gaming Corp. has acquired a software system known as the LSI Casino Management System from developer Logical Solutions International.

"This acquisition represents another step in (Alliance subsidiary) Bally Gaming and Systems' evolving strategy to provide a complete array of casino management solutions for our customers," Miodunski said.

Bally Systems already has 210,000 game monitoring units and 195 casino customers worldwide offering slot machine cash monitoring, accounting, security and maintenance capabilities that enabling casino operators to analyze slot floor performance and accountability.
