Alliance Appoints Deloitte & Touche as New Accounting Firm16 May 2002LAS VEGAS – (Press Release) -- Alliance Gaming Corp. (Nasdaq: ALLY) announced today that based on a recommendation from its Audit Committee, the Company's Board of Directors has appointed Deloitte & Touche LLP as the Company's new independent accounting firm. Deloitte & Touche replaces Arthur Andersen LLP. The decision to change auditors was not the result of any disagreement between the Company and Andersen on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedure. Alliance Gaming is a diversified gaming company with headquarters in Las Vegas. The company is engaged in the design, manufacture, distribution and operation of advanced gaming devices and systems worldwide, is the nation's largest gaming machine route operator, and operates two casinos. |
