Alberta Likely Won't Get VLTs1 November 2002ALBERTA – As reported by the Edmonton Sun: "Alberta's five-year standoff over video lottery terminals now appears more likely to end in a win for foes of the machines. "The Supreme Court of Canada yesterday dismissed a Manitoba appeal that sharply parallels a court fight here over whether VLTs can be banned from communities.
