Agilysys signs deal with Boyd properties

5 November 2007

RATON, Florida -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative IT solutions, including specifically-designed hospitality industry solutions, has announced that three Las Vegas hotel-casinos - Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, The Orleans Hotel and Casino and Suncoast Hotel and Casino - have selected Agilysys to provide a comprehensive property management solution. The properties, all owned by Boyd Gaming Corporation, will use the Lodging Management System(R) (LMS), an integrated property management software solution that automates every aspect of hotel operations, to streamline efficiency and enhance guest service.

"We've worked with Agilysys for many years, and the company has demonstrated proven and reliable solutions as well as industry expertise," said David Ross, chief operating officer at Coast Casinos, a Boyd Gaming subsidiary. "In particular, we appreciated the fact that they can provide a comprehensive property management solution, with modules that address virtually every area of our hotel operations. The LMS ResNet(tm) module has already improved the entire reservations process, providing a web-based real- time reservation system that greatly enhances guest satisfaction."

The three properties are implementing several LMS modules, including:

* LMS ARTS(R): Activities reservations tracking module that manages the properties' diverse venues and places canceled activities back into inventory for resale.

* LMS CASH(R): Credit authorization and settlements handling module that provides instant online credit card approval combined with express check-in.

* LMS ResNet: Web-based real-time reservation system that enables online shoppers to check room rates and availability and book reservations directly into the LMS property management system.

"The Lodging Management System will provide Gold Coast, The Orleans and Suncoast with the robust technology they need to manage their many venues," said Tina Stehle, senior vice president and general manager at Agilysys Hospitality Solutions. "From reservations and check-in to activities tracking, our solutions will boost efficiency and maximize profitability and will complement each property's efforts to provide an extraordinary guest stay experience."
