Agilysys launches enhanced systems

Three new innovations are an enhanced LMS ShowGate(R) module with a new Access Management feature, an updated LMS ARTS(R) module with an Event Management feature, and a new Hospitality BI Solution in conjunction with the Cognos 8 Business Intelligence tool for both LMS and/or MMS customers.

* LMS ShowGate module with Access Management allows easy validation and control of tickets at theater and showroom entry points. Using handheld scanners, barcodes can be read directly from issued tickets as well as from customers' home printers.

* LMS ARTS module with Event Management provides an industry first application for monitoring activity automatically for any promotional event. Event Management can track reservations, gift giveaways, record tournament scores and print leader sheets, rain checks and receipts while linking this information to casino player ID.

* Hospitality Business Intelligence Solution in conjunction with the Cognos 8 Business Intelligence tool helps properties leverage existing data, understand the "why" behind results, and make the right decisions in less time. This solution from Agilysys assists properties to better align staff with guest levels, to improve loyalty marketing programs so they sync up with customers' preferences, to track and manage total food and beverage spend and to access group and guest history real- time. Customized reports, alerts and executive dashboards enable properties to maximize profitability while enhancing the guest experience.
