AGE features 3 day programme2 May 2008SYDNEY, Australia -– (PRESS RELEASE) -- This year's Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE), held August 24-26 at Sydney's Darling Harbour, features an innovative and impressive three day conference programme, which is free for gaming industry organisations. "We have a stellar line-up of speakers and entertainers at this year's conference, covering issues such as gaming technology, regulation and legislation, design and décor, and gaming investment and reward. "We're also pleased to announce that our exhibition is 95% booked, with 175 exhibitors showcasing their products and services over four halls of the Exhibition centre," explained Mr Ferrar. The three day exhibition at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre is from 10am-5pm each day August 24-26, and the conference commences from 9am until early afternoon over the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of the show. Effectively three conferences in one, each day of the conference is themed with plenary sessions from both local and international experts in their respective fields. The first day is focused on Communication, Recreation and Entertainment; the second day addresses Corporate Life and Gaming as a Business; and the third day is directed towards Gaming and Future Technology. Michael Shackleford is an enticing keynote speaker who will explain the latest international trends and present "Sweat the Money", consumer advocacy and resolving disputes. Based in Las Vegas, he is a professional actuary who analyses games for casinos and games developers. Other memorable speakers also include Ross Greenwood, Rod McGeoch, Allan Pease, Mark Taylor, Sir Richard Hadlee, Tan Jose, and Senator Nick Xenophon. In addition, renowned sleight of hand expert Jack Black will perform his mystifying magical skills and techniques. His expertise, particularly his playing card skills, are outstanding and entertaining.
