AGA Members Volunteer For Charity

WASHINGTON, DC -- More than 40 members of the American Gaming Association will launch a week of charitable activities that continues through June 2.

Members, including casino properties and gaming equipment makers, will participate in walk-a-thons, neighborhood cleanups, book drives and other activities to benefit local community groups in nine states.

Participants include Ameristar Casinos Inc., Argosy Gaming Co., Aristocrat Technologies Inc., Boyd Gaming Corp., Harrah's Entertainment Inc., International Game Technology, Isle of Capri Casinos Inc., MGM MIRAGE and Station Casinos Inc.

Beneficiaries include the American Cancer Society, Boys & Girls Club, March of Dimes and Meals on Wheels.

The Washington, D.C.-based AGA is a trade group and lobbying organization for the hotel-casino industry.
