AG Ieyoub To Discuss Former Gov. Edwards Phone Conversation26 October 2000BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – Oct. 26, 2000 – As reported by The Associated Press: " Attorney General Richard Ieyoub on Wednesday promised that he will discuss a secretly recorded telephone conversation between his first assistant and former Gov. Edwin Edwards about a possible case involving Edwards' brother. "…During the taped conversation, Koury advises Edwards of a criminal matter that might come up concerning Edwards' brother, Marion.
