Affinity Gaming appoints vice president of IT and CIO24 July 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- Affinity Gaming announced the appointment of Paige Lion as the new vice president of IT and CIO, where she will be responsible for driving the implementation of large scale IT-related initiatives for the gaming company and its 11 casinos located in Nevada, Colorado, Missouri and Iowa. No stranger to the hospitality and gaming industry, Lion previously worked for Caesars Entertainment for 22 years, starting as a senior project manager, then market technology manager and regional technology director, before assuming her final position as divisional director of IT and business engagement. She most recently served as vice president senior program manager for JP Morgan Chase in Tampa, Florida. In keeping up with the demands of today's digital age, Affinity Gaming has undergone several restructurings to its executive team in recent years to focus on customer data analytics and profitability. "We have become more of a data-driven company in marketing and customer service, which helps us to better customize our programs to meet the needs of existing customers and grow our business," said Affinity Gaming CEO Michael Silberling. "Paige brings an impressive background and expertise to help us continue to enhance our IT operations and we're excited to welcome her to the team." Lion graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor of science in quantitative business analysis and minor in computer science and statistics. |
