18 October 2000

UNCASVILLE, Conneticut –(Press Release) -- Oct. 18, 2000 -- Advanced Casino Systems Corporation (``ACSC'') announced today that it has entered into a formal agreement with Mohegan Sun Casino, Uncasville, Connecticut (operated by Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority) to install ACSC's Slot Marketing System(TM) (``SMS(TM)'') and Casino Management System (``CMS(TM)''). The integrated applications provide a one-of-kind, fully-functional casino management and marketing software package.

To ready itself for its massive property expansion, Project Sunburst, which is already underway, Mohegan Sun has chosen to replace its existing casino management and slot marketing systems with the technologies offered by ACSC. At the completion of Mohegan Sun's expansion project, the new mega- resort will feature two casinos totaling 6,100 slot machines, 230 table games, 42 poker tables, a 1,200-room hotel tower, a 10,000 seat entertainment arena and a sparkling new retail complex which will link the two casinos.

Based on IBM's leading edge AS/400 architecture, ACSC's SMS(TM) and CMS(TM) systems utilize a proven integrated database that allows casino operators to seamlessly manage all of their slot and casino systems as one system. The ACSC system provides complete integration-in real-time-between all aspects of the casino ... slots, tables, hotel, point-of-sale, marketing, credit, cage operations, accounting and promotions/special events.

Additional benefits enjoyed by ACSC's customers include years of experience in project management and network support administration, direct mail fulfillment services, marketing consulting, data warehousing products and complete casino/hotel integration services. This approach offers ``one-call- does-it-all'' for hardware and software sales, service and support.

``We are excited to finalize this agreement with a highly-respected and renowned operation like Mohegan Sun. This project continues to affirm our market research showing that customers seek to have a truly integrated solution to gain a competitive advantage in the casino industry. We believe that our SMS(TM) and CMS(TM) offer the integrated suite of casino and property management applications that fulfills our customers needs,'' according to Larry Cole, President of ACSC.

Cole continued, ``Time and time again, the continued reliability of the AS/400, coupled with close to 20 years of casino-specific software development, have made AS/400 the clear choice for 90% of casino operators in North America.''

``ACSC is known for its top-flight software, sales and support, and innovation within the gaming industry. Mohegan Sun conducted a very thorough evaluation of the available systems and we chose ACSC. By utilizing the ACSC suite of products, Mohegan Sun will be in a position to offer our customers innovative in-game slot features and exciting marketing and promotional programs consistent with Mohegan Sun's strategic direction,'' acclaimed Jeff Hartmann, Executive Vice President/CFO, Mohegan Sun.

``We are committed to blowing away the customer with great service and efficiency in our operations, and the ACSC system positions us very well in both of these areas. Project Sunburst requires us to establish this partnership with ACSC because their system has the horsepower and reliability to take us where we want to go,'' Hartmann continued.
