Additional California Casinos to Install CDS' Oasis State-of-the-Art Casino Management System

25 September 2000

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (Press Release) -- Sept. 25, 2000 -- Casino Data Systems (Nasdaq:CSDS) announced today that it has signed contracts to install its OASIS(TM) v.11 casino management system in three California casinos: Chumash Casino, Win-River Casino and Robinson Rancheria Bingo and Casino.

``We chose CDS' OASIS casino management system because of a number of features, including its new ticketing capabilities,'' said John Gregory, General Manager for Chumash Casino. ``Our number one goal is superior customer service and the OASIS system allows us to customize casino operations in a way that is convenient to our player.''

OASIS v.11 is based on the popular Windows® operating systems, and provides casino management with a system that is fast, accurate and easy to use.

OASIS uses advanced electronic monitoring equipment to collect, integrate, analyze and report information on player and machine activity and enables operators to seamlessly link all of their data centers together, including casino, hotel, food and beverage, and point of sale.

More than 135,000 gaming machines in over 125 casinos across North America are now being monitored by CDS' OASIS systems, which are offered in both DOS and Windows®-based platforms.

``The advanced ticketing capabilities in CDS' OASIS system will provide substantial savings for us as well as increased service and convenience for our players,'' said Clara Wilson, Tribal Chairperson for Robinson Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians of California.

``We are committed to providing the best casino experience for our customers, including Nevada-style gaming machines and coinless player transactions, therefore the OASIS system was the only choice for us.''

The OASIS casino management systems will be installed on 1,000 games at Chumash Casino, 402 games at Win-River Casino and 400 games at Robinson Rancheria Casino. Chumash Casino and Win-River Casino are also installing PitBOSS(TM), the company's pit, cage, and credit information system, to monitor the casinos' table games.

``The California market is significant to CDS as we expand our leadership position in the casino management systems industry throughout the country,'' said Van Baltz, Vice President of Systems for Casino Data Systems. ``These three tribes are poised for tremendous growth and opportunity in California gaming and CDS is committed to partnering with them on their path to success.''

Chumash Casino is located in Santa Ynez, California and is owned and operated by the Santa Ynez Band of Mission Indians. Win-River Casino is owned and operated by Redding Rancheria and located in Redding, California. Robinson Rancheria Bingo and Casino, located in Nice, California, is owned and operated by the Robinson Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians of California.
